Heavy Combination (HC) Road Ranger Newcastle & Central Coast
HC training and assessment takes approximately 17 hours to complete and is intended for persons who wish to drive an articulated truck with three (3) or more axles in a vehicle fitted with a manual gear box(road ranger, constant mesh).
i.e Prime mover with single semi trailer, or heavy rigid vehicle towing a GVM more than nine (9) tonnes. Heavy Combination (HC) truck training costs $2950 over a 2 day period when conducted in our vehicles. First day in a full sized automatic semi-trailer learning the skills need to control the vehicle. Second day will be in 18 speed road ranger learning the necessary skills to complete the unrestricted gear box upgrade.
